Sandals Saint Vincent & The Grenadines
There’s a new, luxury address in the Caribbean archipelago of Saint Vincent and The Grenadines that every incentive planner should know about. So, Holly Patrick took on the arduous task of experiencing this new resort first-hand so she could tell you all about it…
Sandals Saint Vincent and The Grenadines resort is set on 50 acres of land and framed by rainforest-covered mountains, often crowned by rainbows. The rainforest’s green canopies perfectly contrast the azure blue waters of the Caribbean Sea that laps at the resort’s shore.
A place where you’re encouraged to leave your worries at the palm-tree-lined approach to the resort. A place you’re encouraged to luxuriate and indulge in curated island life. A place where your every need is taken care of.
The 301-key property is comprised of hotel-style suites, semi-detached garden or beachfront bungalows and overwater, two-storey, butler-service bungalows, with 11 restaurants, four pools, two whirlpools, nine bars, a spa, high-end entertainment and seemingly endless activities.
Constructed with event planners in mind, the resort also boasts an almost 2,000 sqf ballroom, 420 sqf boardroom and 1,160 sqf Riverside Pavilion, ideal for al fresco meetings, networking reception, sunrise yoga, and a private dancefloor.
From the gorgeous natural surroundings that offer a frangipane-scented slice of tranquillity to the top-tier service that fosters a home-away-from-home feeling, Sandals Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, has firmly secured its place on the must-book incentive location list.
Take a closer look
With well-known neighbours such as St Lucia, Grenada and Barbados, it’s previously been easy to overlook St Vincent and the Grenadines.
Until recently, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines has remained a lesser-sung gem of the Caribbean. While the rich and famous, including Princess Margaret, have enjoyed secluded spots on Grenadine island Mustique and Bequia island for decades, the main island of St Vincent has only recently seen international tourism number rocket.
In 2023, the number of international tourists visiting St. Vincent and the Grenadines was 394,000, an increase of about 89 per cent from the previous year.
How do you get there?
Virgin Atlantic fly to St. Vincent three times a week from London Heathrow on Mondays, Wednesdays and Sundays. The flight takes 11 hours in total with a short stop in Barbados, followed by a 25-minute flight onwards to the island of Saint Vincent.
Sandals will lay on transport to and from the airport for guests staying at the resort.
Where will you be sleeping?
Sandals Saint Vincent and The Grenadines has 15 room categories, beginning with the 1,248 sqft two-story Vincy Overwater Two-Story Villas, complete with butler service. Here, guests can relax on the day bed overhanging the water or enjoy a drink or two whilst watching the sun go down on the second-floor deck.
The resort boasts several Beachfront Butler Villa Suites, some with private pools and one with two bedrooms ideal for groups, plus Garden Suites with butler service. Lead-in rooms have bathtubs on the balcony, and many have stunning views overlooking the ocean.
What’s on?
From land to sea Sandals Saint Vincent and The Grenadines offers an impressive array of activities included in every stay.
