The Grand Brighton hosts Leonardo Hotels Agency Ball
Brighton’s famous seafront hotel held the Leonardo Hotels annual Agency Ball on Thursday 6 March, showcasing the hotel’s range of conference and events facilities.
The Agency Ball, which introduced events at The Grand Brighton and Leonardo Hotels as a whole, welcomed more than 250 event agents from travel management companies, event management agencies and venue finders who work with Leonardo Hotels – the group which owns The Grand Brighton.
The event placed guests right in the heart of the 1900’s Regency era on Brighton Pier, featuring a cocktail reception with canapes and live entertainment in The Albert Room, the hotel’s original ballroom which has recently been refurbished to showcase its historic features and high ceilings.
Guests were then invited to enjoy a three-course dinner followed by entertainment in The Empress Suite, including a three-act show featuring musical numbers, dancers, a strongman and a contortionist, with a DJ and saxophone player to close the evening. The Empress Suite is the largest sea-facing conference suite in the UK, with the ability to hold up to 900 delegates.
Maisie Phillips, director of sales Brighton at Leonardo Hotels, said: “Following the success of our first ever Agency Ball at Leonardo Hotel and Conference Venue Hinckley Island last year, we were delighted to be able to host yet another successful event, this time at Brighton’s most iconic and historic hotel, The Grand Brighton, which offers a wide range of beautifully designed event spaces that can cater to all different requirements. We are set to complete our £16.2m bedroom refurbishment next month so it was a fantastic opportunity for the events professionals who attended to experience the new wave of luxury at The Grand Brighton, and we would like to once again thank everyone who attended.”
