Final call: make your M&IT Awards votes count

If that countdown clock is starting to feel a little intense, you’re not alone...

We’ve reached the final stretch of voting for the M&IT Awards, and with the deadline fast approaching on Friday 24 April, now is the moment to act.

Whether you’ve been meaning to vote or just haven’t quite got round to it yet, this is your reminder: don’t leave it too late.

Every year, the M&IT Awards are shaped by the industry itself. That’s what makes them matter. The venues, suppliers and teams recognised aren’t chosen behind closed doors-they’re voted for by the people who work with them day in, day out.

And this year, the response has already been fantastic. It’s been hugely encouraging to see the industry rally behind the awards, celebrating the organisations and individuals delivering real impact across events.

But we’re not done yet.

Event organisers: if you haven’t cast your votes, there’s still time to have your say. You can vote for a specific organisation in up to three different categories, with one vote per category. With 18 categories in total, you can take part in as many - or as few - as you like.

Event suppliers: this is your final opportunity to mobilise support. Now’s the time to send that last reminder to clients and partners. Make sure they know how much their vote matters - and that the window is closing fast.

A quick reminder too that we also want your nominations for our judged awards:

  • Chris Peacock Rising Star of the Year
  • M&IT Personality of the Year
  • M&IT Elevate Award - Sponsored by Elevate

New this year, the M&IT Elevate Award recognises organisations that are championing best practice in talent development. So if you know anyone that's nurturing future leaders, and creating meaningful initiatives that drive long-term growth for both individuals and the wider events industry, make sure we know about them too.

The announcement of the M&IT Personality of the Year is the climax of the evening - whose name would you most like to flash up on screen when the big reveal happens? Make sure they're in the running - nominate them today.

Don't forget: only UK-based, bona fide event organisers can vote in the non-judged categories. But within that, they have real influence - so make sure you’re encouraging them to use it.

Then, once it’s done, you can relax.

The countdown is well and truly on, and these final days will make all the difference. So let’s finish strong and ensure the very best of our industry gets the recognition it deserves.

And if you want to see the results unfold in style, you can join us on Friday 18 September at the JW Marriott Grosvenor House London - with early-bird tickets available until 26 June.

For now, though, there’s one thing left to do...
