Oracle Red Bull Racing has unveiled the latest addition to its Milton Keynes event campus.

The Warehouse is a 565 sqm breakout and ancillary space that complements the site’s existing suite of contemporary corporate venues and areas, offering organisers a room with a capacity for up to 450 standing, 120 cabaret and 200 theatre style.

The partnership between The Chester Grosvenor and Queen’s Park High School comes as part of a district-wide initiative by the Chester Hospitality Association (CHA) and the Pledge Partnership, which sees schools across the city paired with an associated hotel.

Some key areas of focus are raising students’ aspirations through real-world experience and providing personal development opportunities for all.

Over the next academic year, the programme of events will see students undertake work experience at the hotel, which will include catering masterclasses, careers workshops and fundamentally, the development of transferable skills taught by seasoned professionals with impressive hospitality careers.

The first Radisson hotel in the north of England has reopened its doors in York.

Previously known as Park Inn by Radisson York City Centre, the riverside property has undergone a transformation to become Radisson Hotel York.

The hotel features 200 rooms and a range of meeting and function spaces for conferences of up to 400 people, gala dinners, or training sessions, complete with a dedicated on-site meetings and events team.

RIBA at 66 Portland Place in Marylebone has revealed a new, accessible meeting space on its ground floor that is now available for corporate event hire.

Framed by large double-fronted windows and named in recognition of architect George Grey Wornum who designed the Royal Institute of British Architects’ headquarters, the Wornum Room has capacity for up to 10 delegates around a large round table designed to encourage interaction and engagement.

Thomas Morgan, head of venues and events delivery at RIBA at 66 Portland Place, said: “It’s great to be able to add to our venue inventory at 66 Portland Place with this new purpose-built event space on our ground floor. The Wornum Room is fully accessible and features stunning double-fronted windows that look out onto Portland Place and fill the space with natural light. Already we are seeing demand for the room as a breakout area or green room for larger events at the venue, as well as a meeting space in its own right.”

University of Leeds Conferences and Events (formerly MEETinLEEDS) launched its new city centre venue – Cloth Hall Court.

Located on Quebec Street, opposite Leeds Railway Station, the Grade II listed building is a multi-purpose corporate and private events venue for up to 300 delegates.

Cloth Hall Court offers nine event spaces of varying sizes, over four floors.

The Meet With Purpose package offers the chance to give back to a local charity while enjoying exclusive advantages, including a suite upgrade, one meeting room with catered function, and preferential commission.

The hotel's indoor ballrooms recently underwent a comprehensive renovation, with a new design that celebrates the surrounding desert landscape and takes inspiration from the hotel's Spanish architecture.
