Hampshire's Balmer Lawn announces new meeting facilities
A luxury hotel in the heart of the New Forest has announced its conference and events facilities.
The hotel is equipped for a variety of corporate event needs. Amongst the rooms on offer to planners is an awards venue with staging, lighting, and a 360-degree photo booth, as well as meeting rooms and breakout games rooms.
All meeting rooms boast natural light and private terraces and the property offers extensive leisure facilities at Balmer Lawn – including a gym, an indoor and outdoor heated swimming pool, a sauna, and a jacuzzi. Its 24-hour delegate package, including an overnight stay, a two-course lunch, and a three-course dinner, start from £200 per delegate. Balmer Lawn also offers a day package, including snacks, tea and coffee, and lunch, starting at £45.
Businesses who book a conference at the hotel will also be welcomed to a 15 per cent discount on treatments in its spa.

Venues of Excellence (VOE), a collection of exceptional venues has welcomed four new venues into the consortium.
Yorkshire Event Centre (YEC) brings a great venue into the North of England region where Fiona Stilborn, Head of Sales said: “We are excited that the Yorkshire Event Centre is joining our sister property, Pavilions of Harrogate as a member of Venues of Excellence.
Adding to the London portfolio of venues is The Central, a versatile multi-space venue located on Hallam Street, right in the heart of London’s West End, where behind its iconic façade, the venue’s neutral-palette interior provides the ideal blank canvas for all types of events. The venue is ideal for an exclusive-use event, where privacy and attention to detail are key.
By contrast, VOE welcomes the of the historic Oatlands Park Hotel one of the finest 4-star hotels in Surrey, steeped in royal history.
In the final straight, VOE has welcomed a new sporting venue into the family; Royal Windsor Racecourse Conference and Exhibition Centre, offering a variety of indoor meeting rooms and conference facilities along with acres of green space, encircled by the River Thames.
Butlin’s invests in the future of fun
In 2024, Butlin’s will invest in two new features – PLAYXPERIENCE, a £15 million indoor activity centre at Bognor Regis and new premium lodges at Skegness.
Opening Autumn 2024, PLAYXPERIENCE will feature 50,000 square feet filled with a variety of cutting-edge experiences, including escape rooms, digi-darts, tech putt, laser tag, batting cages, shuffleboard, glow-pong and a games arena–all under one roof.
PLAYXPERIENCE will be available to hire for corporate groups, either as part of exclusive hire of the entire resort or as part of an event on a shared break.
As part of the corporate package, activities can be set to free play and corporate event attendees can have the place all to themselves.
New Hotel Rooms go live at Emirates Old Trafford
Emirates Old Trafford has completed 100 new rooms in the in-venue Hilton Garden Inn Hotel.
The expanded hotel forms part of a wider vision for the venue, which also includes the launch of two outdoor terraces and an Eco Roof Garden, all of which further enhance the stadium’s meetings and event products.

Hôtel Martinez in Cannes has introduced an exclusive 360-degree mapping technology in its large event space, Le Festival, with a surface area of almost 900sqm.
The mapping technology can be adapted to the three configurations of Le Festival, either as a complete room or as two separate spaces divided by a soundproof partition.
