Pet Care Conference proves a walk in the park for Butlin’s

Pet Care recently chose Butlin’s Bognor Regis to host its 2023 conference for 1,200 staff, managers, and leadership teams from across its Pets at Home, Vets4Pets, and Pets Grooming stores.

The venue also offered ample room for networking opportunities, breakout sessions, and interactive exhibits.

But it wasn't all work. With Butlin's on-site fairground and arcades, delegates got the opportunity to have plenty of fun!

A hard sell?

"I admittedly had my reservations before heading to a site visit at Butlin’s, however as soon as I arrived, any concerns I had just disappeared,” explained Pets at Home event lead.

“I felt listened to, understood and excited at the concept of working with Butlin’s on our event.  The idea of being able to host all our attendees on one site, right next to the sea, with a host of opportunities to add those extra wow moments; was in fact a no brainer! 

“The initial site visit ended up taking over three hours; which just shows the time and care the Butlin’s team dedicated to me even before anything was confirmed.”

Full suite of audio-visual facilities

The educational part of the conference has a focus on delivering impactful presentations and interactive sessions, which is where Butlin’s Studio 36 came in handy. Studio 36 is a blank canvas, high tech venue with large screens, projectors, sound systems, and stage lighting.

Working as a team

The event lead added, “What I really loved is that we worked together as one team, there was no them and us.  Although events are hard graft for all involved, Butlin’s made it so easy for us and we had an absolute blast with them along the way! We would recommend Butlin's as a venue for events.”
