Bring the world together in Toronto

Toronto is the economic, innovative and cultural heart of Canada. Home to big-ticket events, top attractions, restaurants, nightlife, culture and sports, it is perfect for planners seeking new ideas

An experience for everyone

From VIP dining experiences with celebrity chefs to private helicopter tours over the Falls, visit one of Ontario’s wineries, enjoy award-winning spa experiences or attend exclusive star-studded premieres during the Toronto International Film Festival. In Toronto, attendees experience a different kind of luxury.

The city is also known as a major fashion hub, with access to malls, designer outlets, boutique stores and local brands. From luxury designer selections at Bloor-Yorkville’s boutique stores, to the best vintage finds at the Kensington Market, there is a spot for any shopper to discover their favourites.

Not far from the city skyscrapers and downtown core, you’ll find iconic Canadian nature: rich forests, freshwater lakes, beautiful trails and waterfalls. Take a day trip to Niagara Falls or Muskoka to enjoy nature’s wonders.

Edge Walk at CN Tower

The CN Tower is Toronto’s most iconic attraction rising 553 metres above the city’s skyline. Located in the heart of downtown, this architectural marvel draws visitors each year to experience its breathtaking views, thrilling attractions and sky-high dining. A must try for daredevils, EdgeWalk is its most thrilling attraction with a Guinness World Record for the ‘Highest External Walk on a Building’. It is the world’s highest full circle hands-free walk on a 1.5 m wide ledge encircling the top of the Tower’s main pod.

Distillery Historic District

Founded in 1832, this historic area was home to Gooderham & Worts which became the largest distillery in the world. Since then, it has been restored to create a pedestrian-only neighbourhood and home to the largest collection of Victorian industrial architecture in North America. The district can incorporate private dining, guided tours, arts and cultural experiences for groups looking for memorable off-site events.

Taste the world in one city

Toronto’s diverse culinary scene is home to more than 7,500 restaurants and has earned the city the distinction of being the first in Canada to receive a MICHELIN Guide. Shaped by cultures from around the globe, Toronto’s dining landscape offers groups an opportunity to connect over memorable meals, discover new flavours and experience the city’s multicultural character in a way that feels both welcoming and distinctly local.

Excellent connectivity

With two easy-to-access international airports offering more than 1,400 daily flights from over 180 cities, direct flights from the UK take approximately seven hours. From Toronto Pearson International Airport, the UP Express provides a convenient air-rail link to downtown in just 28 minutes. Once in the city, Toronto’s walkable downtown core and extensive public transit network make it easy for delegates to move between hotels, venues, attractions and neighbourhoods.

An impressive sustainability record

Toronto’s reputation as a sustainable meetings destination is well earned, with the third-highest percentage of certified sustainable hotels in the world.

The Metro Toronto Convention Centre is committed to making a positive impact through initiatives such as waste diversion and energy conservation. Exhibition Place is a leading green venue with its Enercare Centre and Automotive Building boasting LEED Platinum and Silver certifications, respectively.
