UNIQUE VENUES

YACHT CLUB DE MONACO

Founded in 1953 by Prince Rainier, The Yacht Club de Monaco occupies a unique place in the world of international yachting.

Welcoming the most exclusive, sophisticated and innovative events to its indoor and outdoor space, its eco-responsible approach includes photovoltaic cells, solar thermal panels and sea water cooling systems that make the most of the sunshine and waterfront location.

OCEANOGRAPHIC MUSEUM OF MONACO

Located in the old town, just a few steps from the Prince’s Palace, the Monaco Oceanographic Museum has become a symbol of sustainability through its long-standing commitment to environmental awareness and marine conservation.

Whether you are looking to host a conference for 350, a dinner or a cocktail reception for more than 1,000, whilst learning about the preservation of the ocean, the ‘Temple of the sea’ offers a wide range of magnificent event spaces.

In addition to its historic collections, aquarium and themed exhibitions, it offers stunning views of the Mediterranean from its rooftop terrace and the recently added ‘Sea Turtle Odyssey’.

MONACO’S INCREDIBLE NEW EVENT SPACES

THE GRIMALDI FORUM EXTENSION

The Monaco Government Congress and Culture Centre will benefit from an ambitious urban development beginning in 2025 that will include a six-hectare extension of the Principality's territory.

This will enable The Grimaldi Forum to increase its modular capacity by 50 per cent with an additional 6,000 sqm, making it possible to host more and larger events. Two thousand sqm of exterior space will be made available, including the 600 sqm Ravel Terrace with sea views.

REMODELLING OF THE ICONIC CAFÉ DE PARIS, CASINO SQUARE

After a series of transformations that have included the metamorphosis of the Hotel de Paris Monte-Carlo, the creation of One Monte-Carlo - a new convention centre that opened in 2019 - and the restoration of Casino Square in 2020, it is the turn of the famous brasserie. Conserving its renowned Belle Epoque style, Café de Paris, Monte-Carlo will re-open in its current location in the autumn and benefit from two additional floors, including a spectacular rooftop.

Amazonico restaurant will open on the rooftop terrace by April 2024. Inspired by the Amazon rainforest, it will offer an extraordinary culinary and musical experience with panoramic views of the city.

A TEAM STRONGLY COMMITTED TO THE ENVIRONMENT

Having launched The Responsible Tourism White Paper and signed the Glasgow Declaration on climate action, the destination has strong green credentials. The Monaco Government Tourist and Convention Authority is committed to many environmentally sustainable initiatives such as recycling banners and tarpaulins into tote bags and pouches, supporting Digital and Devices clean-up days and creating a new carbon calculator. From 2024, The Monaco Convention Bureau will calculate the footprint of fam trips and events, and is committed to ensuring environmentally-aware actions are applied at all times.
