Monaco, a destination with infinite potential
In Monaco we are committed to reinventing business tourism and to developing our tailor made approach to hosting events. Our large choice of venues combined with our competitive value for money offer make our destination the perfect location for your next event.
OUR PROXIMITY: AN ECONOMIC AND SUSTAINABLE VALUE
Only 25 km from Nice International Airport – France’s second largest airport – and with a territory of 2km2, Monaco is definitely all about proximity. No taxi-rides or bus transfers to be organised with its walkability between hotels, venues and the conference centre meaning more quality time available for delegates to explore the destination, network, work and relax. Monaco’s proximity means considerably reducing your carbon footprint and costs compared to other destinations.
The close links between the Principality’s stakeholders and the Monaco Convention Bureau ensure total flexibility and reactivity, a quick lead response and, for large events, the benefits of the Monaco Meeting Offer, with attractive rates and conditions tailored to each event’s needs.

A COUNTRY OF EXPERTISE AND INNOVATION
The Monaco Convention Bureau has a dedicated team of experts supporting event organisers to meet their most specific requirements and guarantee the success of their events.
Events in Monaco can take advantage of experts from different sectors: new technologies, finance, innovation, medicine, automotive and energy transition. The destination hosts annual recurring events particularly in the healthcare and pharmaceutical industry and the Monaco Convention Bureau assists event organisers to ensure ethical codes are followed locally.
A PIONEERING & LEADING APPROACH TO SUSTAINABILITY
The Grimaldi Forum Monaco has focused on environmental responsibility since 2008 and fourteen years later, its commitment is ever stronger. This multi award-winning convention centre has reduced its total energy consumption by 25% with an urban solar power plant of 2500 m2 of pholtovotaic panels on its roof space and is the Principality’s leading energy producer providing electricity to 170 Monegasque homes.
88% of Monaco’s 2500 hotel rooms hold environmental certification and 97% of the hotels have signed up to the National Energy Transition pact preparing the destination for the future and developing a course of actions that will change behaviours and consumption habits in order to become the leading sustainable destination in the Mediterranean. Monaco has committed to reduce its GHG emissions by 55% by 2030 (compared to 1990) and to be carbon neutral in 2050.

THE MONACO SMART CITY CONCEPT
Doing better regarding urban spaces means better ways of building and getting around, better ways of managing resources and living. The Monaco Smart City Project is a more inclusive civic approach improving the quality of life and unleashing local economic potential. Monaco embarked on its transition in 2017 with the aim of completing this transformation by the end of the year.
A number of initiatives have been introduced including the installation of smart bus shelters, a large network of latest-generation hybrid city buses, solar-powered electric waterbus, a large fleet of Monabike electric bicycles and Mobee electric cars.
In addition the Principality recently launched Your Monaco, an urban news site showing traffic in real time, interactive maps, transport timetables, parking and electric charging stations. It offers direct access to other digital services from fitness sessions, a carbon coach and tickets for shows.
All these forward-looking achievements hugely benefit the conference delegate attending an event in Monaco.
