PortAventura Business & Events offers a range of products and services ideal for events and is particularly proud of its flexibility and capacity to adapt in order to meet the needs of its clients. A fully customisable 360° service means it is able to satisfy almost all requirements.
Within the ‘all in one’ concept, there is a large Convention Centre equipped with 24 multifunctional rooms in an area of 20,000 sqm. There are six hotels within the resort (one five-star hotel, five four-star hotels) and two four-star affiliated hotels outside the resort, offering a total of 2,693 rooms. In addition, complementary services include excellent catering services, spectacular shows and exclusive use of PortAventura Park and Ferrari Land. All immersed in a Mediterranean setting one hour from Barcelona.
Team of experts
PortAventura Business & Events has its own team of professionals with extensive experience in organising events, ranging from sales to operational management used to co-ordinating the different areas of the resort. Thanks to a single point of contact assigned to each event, the support and production team works in an agile, dynamic and efficient way.
A successful 2023
PortAventura Business & Events has hosted more than 220 events this year for clients in a variety of sectors including consulting, banking, sports, pharmaceutical and healthcare among others.
While its largest market is Spain, 26 per cent of its events business is international with the UK and France being the most important.
Its success in Europe has helped motivate the destination to continue to innovate and improve.
Sustainable approach
Priding itself on the sustainable approach taken by its management, which runs throughout PortAventura World, PortAventura Business & Events implements a responsible management model ensuring events are increasingly respectful of the environment.
The solutions offered to clients and internationally prestigious environmental certifications awarded - including the European EMAS certificate, the ISO14001 standard and the Environmental Quality Guarantee Award - support its commitment to the attainment of the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
Sustainable practices in place for several years include the reuse and optimisation of materials, option to offset the carbon footprint of an event and choosing local products.
In April 2023, PortAventura World became part of the B Corp movement, a milestone that recognises the resort’s work in terms of sustainability, social responsibility and good governance.
