The carbon-neutral congress centre
After four years of reconstruction, the congress centre and Tonhalle Zürich is once again open for events and leading the way in carbon-neutral events. This is the first congress centre in Switzerland where guests and event planners don’t even have to think about their CO2 footprint. The building itself, the catering concept and the fact that guests can arrive by foot, make the implementation easy. The centre is located in the heart of the city by the lake.

As you would expect from the second most liveable city in the world (Mercer 2019), Zurich offers an impressive mix of leisure and business, with a diverse cultural agenda, glorious natural surroundings including the Alps on its doorstep and a buzzing urban atmosphere with excellent gastronomy and fun nightlife.

The Zürich Tourism Convention Bureau is the first point of contact for events in the city and surrounding region. As your local partner, the Zurich Tourism Convention Bureau will accompany you from the initial bidding stage through to the implementation of your congress, meeting or event. It can assist with site inspections, venue finding, the bidding process, organising social programmes, finding speakers and consultancy for hybrid and sustainable event organisation – and all its services are offered free of charge.
