And in 2026, there is an added extra on the menu as Vienna celebrates its culinary identity. Wiener Küche– Viennese cuisine – is the only one of its kind to be named after a city. Authentic and traditional, it also moves with the times achieving fresh new levels. Enjoyed in the capital’s down-to-earth Beisl restaurants and at local sausage stands, it also features with a modern twist on Michelin-starred menus. This spirit carries through the city’s diverse dining scene - from iconic coffee houses to creative fine dining, vineyards within the city to regional traditions reimagined, offering a wide range of mouth-watering experiences.
