CASABLANCA & REGION

Discover vibrant Casablanca for your next event

Due to open next year, the Casablanca Congress & Exhibition Center will herald a new dawn for business events in Morocco’s economic heart

The state-of-the-art Casablanca Congress & Exhibition Center will accommodate up to 2,000 people alongside almost 12,000 sqm of modular exhibition space when it opens in 2025. With an Atlantic Ocean backdrop, the 20,000 sqm site is located close to the magnificent Hassan II Mosque and will be surrounded by landscaped gardens.

The new centre will complement the modern facilities already on offer at the architecturally-impressive Mohammed VI International Conference Centre. There are also many excellent hotels offering meeting space. With 18 four and five-star properties in the city, there are a total of 22,000 beds available with more coming onstream.

A contemporary capital and a hub connected both nationally and internationally.

Casablanca’s Mohammed V Airport ensures the city’s excellent global connectivity, welcoming more than 14 million passengers a year. A gateway to Africa with connections to more than 100 destinations around the world via almost 50 airlines, it is less than two hours from Madrid, Lisbon, Barcelona and Malaga and just three to four hours from Paris, Geneva, London, Brussels, Frankfurt and Rome.

The city is also an important railway hub, providing efficient railway connections for local travel and exploring the region's many attractions.

Casa Finance City

Casablanca is the country’s economic powerhouse with a population of more than three million. Its Casa Finance City, located at its centre, has made it a global financial hub and business network. A symbol of the country’s economic growth and modernisation, it attracts businesses from around the world, providing a dynamic international environment, facilitating exchange, partnerships and opportunities for growth.

The White City

Known as ‘The White City’ – due to the colour of its traditional buildings - Casablanca ranked as one of this year’s must-visit destinations of 2024 in TripAdvisor’s Travelers’ Choice Awards. The highlights of its appeal are its architecture, which combines a unique blend of Art Deco and Moorish influences, diverse culinary scene and picturesque beaches.

With its rich culture and history, there is plenty for visitors to enjoy from the Villa des Arts,  La Corniche, Parc de la Ligue Arabe, the bustling Medina and the impressive Hassan II Mosque.

Casablanca's cultural scene is also exciting, with a multitude of art events, festivals and concerts such as Jazzablanca. Prestigious establishments well worth a visit include the Museum of Moroccan Judaism, Dar Alla, the Museum of the Hassan II Mosque and the Mohammed VI Theater. Or visit one of the many beaches such as Ain Diab, Haouzia or Oualidia, for team-building activities, just to relax or for a spot of surfing.

The gastronomy of the region of Casablanca-Settat is a true fusion of flavours, blending Arab, Andalusian, European and Berber influences. This cosmopolitan port city also offers a variety of international cuisines from French gastronomy to Japanese, through Latin tapas and Eastern mezze.

And those in search of nature will delight in the regions of Azemmour, Benslimane and Bouznika.
