With a fully customisable 360° service, PortAventura offers a large convention centre, six hotels in the resort, three Ponient Hotels outside the complex and exclusive entertainment options all in a Mediterranean resort setting just one hour from Barcelona
Within its ‘all in one’ concept, the PortAventura Convention Centre offers 24 multifunctional rooms in an area of 20,000 sqm. Within the resort there are five four-star hotels and one five-star property, plus three Ponient Hotels by PortAventura World located close to the Convention Centre, offering a total of 3,053 rooms. In addition, the site offers its own catering services, shows and exclusive openings of PortAventura Park and Ferrari Land. All immersed in a Mediterranean setting one hour from Barcelona.
Team of experts on hand
PortAventura Business & Events has its own team of professionals with extensive experience in organising events, ranging from sales to operational management. A single point of contact is assigned to each event to co-ordinate the entire support and production team in an agile, dynamic and efficient way, ensuring the client can remain in permanent contact before, during and after the event.
Booster AV Solutions, a joint venture created by PortAventura World and Bmotion AV, offers innovation, efficiency and growth in the corporate events sector. Leading the technical production of all events, it offers a team of experts to assist with audio visual content.
Industry experience
Every year, the convention centre holds more than 260 national and international events in sectors ranging from pharmaceuticals and consumer goods to consultancy and insurance, IT, transport, logistics and banking.
While Spain is currently the largest market, more than a quarter of clients are international with the UK and French markets featuring strongly.
Focus on sustainability
The facilities also stand out for environmental awareness. The sustainable approach taken by its management runs throughout PortAventura World and includes the implementation of a responsible management model to ensure events are increasingly respectful of the environment.
It has been awarded various internationally prestigious environmental certifications including the European EMAS certificate, the ISO14001 standard and the Environmental Quality Guarantee Award, all of which support its commitment to the attainment of the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
The resort has been offering clients various sustainable practices and ideas for several years including the reuse and optimisation of materials, the option to offset the carbon footprint and the choice of using local products.
As part of PortAventura World, PortAventura Business & Events became part of the B Corp movement in April 2023, a milestone that recognises the Convention Centre's work in terms of sustainability, social responsibility and good governance.
