Tel Aviv is a city of contrasts, bringing together an ancient active port alongside one of the world's leading tech and financial hubs.

Day one:

Arrival: Direct flights from London Heathrow and London Luton take just over five hours to reach Tel Aviv’s Ben Gurion Airport. The city centre is around 20 minutes by taxi from the airport.

Check-in: Tel Aviv offers more than 11,000 hotel rooms with many of the main conference hotels located on the beachfront of Tel Aviv. The Intercontinental David is surrounded by views of the Mediterranean Sea, the SoHo of Neve Tzedek and historic Old Jaffa. The property offers 555 rooms and suites and more than 3,200 sqm of conference and meetings space. The Grand Ballroom can host up to 2,500 delegates and for smaller meetings, there are 11 fully equipped boardrooms. When the business day is done, delegates can sample contemporary Israeli dishes and boutique kosher wines at Aubergine restaurant.

Extreme sport and team-building challenges to create memorable experiences

Morning conference: Expo Tel Aviv provides a flexible meeting space across 20 conference halls and eight pavilions, ideal for exhibitions, business events, conferences, private gatherings and trade shows. The green lawns and well‐tended gardens that surround the convention centre serve as a serene backdrop to the bustling city of Tel Aviv. As well as being fully accessible, Expo Tel Aviv also offers a navigation app which allows all visitors to easily find their way around the venue

Networking lunch: Yulia restaurant is located at the south of the Tel Aviv Port. Founded in 2006, Yulia is a fish and seafood restaurant offering a taste of the Mediterranean, ideal for an intimate lunch or small event. Yulia’s provides three different event spaces: an expansive interior seating area the open balcony and a covered porch. In the summer, events can be celebrated on the open terrace for up to 100 guests, and in the winter for 60 guests.

Team building activities: At Sky Town Tel Aviv, the largest Aerial Adventure Park of its kind in the world, there are activities to suit everyone. The park combines extreme sport and team-building challenges to create memorable experiences. The park can accommodate up to 120 people at one time and offers everything from bouldering to rowing a boat and having a picnic up in the sky.

Pre‐dinner drinks: Whiskey Bar & Museum is one of the largest complexes of its kind anywhere in the world, combining a bar‐restaurant and a whiskey museum. Located in Sarona's historic Templer tunnel where delegates will find more than 1,000 whiskey varieties from all over the world.

Gala Dinner: Claro LeMata are two beautifully preserved spaces, carved into the kurkar limestone. The original vault of the National Printing Office from the 1950s is located in the LeMata part of the venue, as well as distillery rooms and a tunnel connecting the building to the adjacent winery. The basement is designed as a lounge bar and a good spot for after-dinner drinks. Planners can also request just half the space, making Claro LeMata is an ideal venue for events of 30 to 200 people.

Day two:

Board meeting: Royal Beach Tel Aviv hotel has several halls and large meeting rooms where delegates can take advantage of in-house catering, modern technology, free Wi‐Fi, and experienced staff that will support buyers throughout the event from planning to execution.

High-end lunch: Herbert Samuel’s is a feast for the eyes as well as the palate. Located at The Ritz-Carlton Hotel in Tel Aviv, the restaurant overlooks Herzliya Marina and the Mediterranean Sea. With a focus on local produce from the land, sea and surrounding vineyards, diners with be treated to a menu offering both complex and classic dishes.

Afternoon incentive: Sandeman’s New Europe walking tours offer delegates the chance to explore the history and culture of Tel Aviv, from the architecture of Old Jaffa to the art-filled streets of the modern city. Some highlights of the tours include the bustling Rothschild Boulevard, the narrow streets around Old Jaffa and the religiously significant Sarona, built atop the remnants of a colony founded in 1871 by the Templars, a religious sect from Germany striving to hasten the coming of the Messiah by settling in the Holy Land.
