The organisers of industry trade show CHS Birmingham say they have introduced initiatives for this year’s event that will put delegate welfare first and make the show ‘a nicer, more welcoming and safer place to be.’

The new safety and inclusion measures include a meet and greet desk for solo arrivals; comprehensive pre-event communication; flexible networking formats and a wellbeing room.

Staff-supported arrival will also be available for delegates who request it and for those with solo travel anxiety there’s ‘Bring Your Industry Bestie’ scheme.

CHS Birmingham event director Michelle Rennoldson said the team wanted to make the experience safer, more inclusive and less stressful for all attendees.

“We attend all our educational sessions at the show. We’re like everyone else, we want to learn, improve, and implement new ideas into our visitor experience, and welfare is critical to who we are as an event.

“Our industry thrives when people feel comfortable, valued and safe. We’re proud to lead by example in Birmingham, showing how thoughtful design and clear communication can create an environment where everyone can focus on connection and content.”

CHS Birmingham, will take place on 28 October at ICC Birmingham.
