most of your visit, follow this handy checklist of unmissable highlights and
features expected at this year’s show.
Boost your knowledge
All visitors have access to The
Meetings Show’s expertly curated education programme. Content will be delivered
across three areas – Stages One and Two, home of professional keynotes, debates
and seminars, and the Blank Canvas, a space for experimentation – on both days
of the show.
An impressive roll call of
speakers are signed up to share their knowledge in sessions, with selected
experts, also available to ‘borrow’ from The Meetings Show’s Human Library.
This new feature allows event
professionals to attend 15 minute one-to-one chats with experts including Claus
Raasted of The College of Extraordinary Experiences, Taylor Smith of BCD
Meetings, Megan Garmers of Streamline Social and comedy writer
Beth Sherman, ready to answer your burning questions and share their advice in
their areas of expertise.
Opinionated types looking to join the debate should head over to Stages One and Two, or the Blank Canvas at 9:45am on Thursday 26 June for The Reckoning sessions where the future of the meetings and events industry will be challenged, championed, and redefined. Join industry leaders, professional bodies and experts as they weigh in for an honest chat about sustainability, talent and advocacy in this debut feature, moderated by the Northstar editorial team.
Fancy a closer look at topics
such as technology, sustainability, staffing, or the future of the industry? Head
to the MESA, isla or MIA stands, and the Power of Events hub with -45dB to hear
more on these topics.
Tech supplier CrowdComms is
among those hosting campfire sessions at the MESA stand (F81). In Let’s Talk
Marketing: AI, Influencers & Finding Your Edge, at 10:30am on Wednesday
25 June, Johnny D. Martinez and Chloe Richardson will explore how AI tools and influencer
strategies are transforming the way events are marketed and experienced.
Meanwhile, speakers sharing top
tips from the MIA stand (D51) include Kat Rack and Louisa Ritchie of Selling
Savvy, who will be sharing tips on strategic account management and on building
relationships with agents at 10am and 12pm respectively on Wednesday 25 June.
And the Power of Events hub with
-45dB, supplier of modular, sustainable, temporary structures and meeting pods
offering up to 45 decibels of sound-reduction, will be a hotbed of discussion. Head
to stand C32 for sessions such as The
Power of Inclusive events and Accessible Talent: Supporting Neurodiversity and
Alternative Learning (Wednesday
25 June 2:40pm) and Next Gen Talent: Education, Training, and DEI (Thursday
26 June 2:40pm).
If you’re concerned you won’t be
able to take in all that knowledge, don’t be. This year all educational
sessions delivered on stages and in the Blank Canvas will feature AI-powered
live captioning thanks to a collaboration with Snapsight and Speaksee, while
visualisers Lim, will be creating live visual communications for sharing at the
show and in a Playbook.

Meetings Show will be inviting apprentices to help run the show this year. The
initiative, supported by Events Apprenticeships and in collaboration with
training provider partners JGA and Access Industry, will give apprentices
