Malta has been preparing comprehensively to reopen its doors to international events and ensure the experience will be even better than before.

Like the rest of the world, the Maltese Islands experienced the Covid-19 pandemic for several months. Fortunately, the Maltese Government took the right measures at the right time and kept the virus well under control.

Malta’s excellent performance has been acknowledged by the European Commission, the Commonwealth, the World Health Organisation, the United Nations World Tourism Organisation and others and is now regarded as one of the safest countries to visit.

With its sunny climate and wide choice of excellent outdoor venues – historic and contemporary – it is easy to organise a socially-distanced event. And with all hotels and restaurants certified by the Malta Tourism Authority that they are compliant with a set of COVID-19 protocols, they provide the highest levels of cleanliness and safety.
