The M&IT Agency Challenge is
heading to Park Regis Birmingham this year with a whole new programme of
activities.
Between 3-4 October, the Agency Challenge
is expected to bring together dozens of the industry’s finest event, meeting, conference,
and incentive planners for two days of networking, business and of course,
team-building challenges.
After all, it wouldn’t be the M&IT Agency
Challenge without the challenges.
These challenges are designed to help
you develop connections with your teammates, but they're also an opportunity
for you to build confidence and communication skills - to help unlock your potential. Plus, completeing challenges equates to winning points, and points
equate to a share of £1,000 worth of vouchers for the winning team.
So, what’s in store for attendees at the
2023 M&IT Agency Challenge?
1. Around the World
Travel the world, without leaving
Birmingham! This is an app-based challenge, where you’ll be required to work in
teams to virtually make your way around the globe, from your starting point in
Argentina.
Each country you ‘arrive in’ will
present a series of different challenges and the aim of the game is to earn
enough travel credits to travel onto your next destination. You can guess your
next destination from a series of clues, to earn valuable bonus travel credits.
2. The Pitch
For this
challenge, you’ll need to harness the individual strengths of each team member
to create, market and pitch the perfect product. You’ll work your way through
three stages, which include photo and video tasks and bonus activities to earn
points as you go and try to reach the top of the score board. This challenge is
all about team work, as you’ll be tackling both creative and cerebral tasks.
3. GPS IPad
Treasure Hunt - Birmingham
Each team will be
given a tablet and on it will be a map of the local area. The map will have
specific locations flagged, all within walking distance and it’s up to each
team to decide the locations they’d like to travel to. When you reach the
chosen location, there will be a quick challenge to complete, such as
completing a photo or video task, or answering a riddle. At the end of the
challenge, all the teams will reunite to look at (and probably have a good
laugh at!) the pictures and videos taken throughout the challenge.
Each challenge
allows attendees to take on individual roles, depending on their skill set or
personality type, so everybody can dip in and out of their comfort zone as they
please.
