London has been named top meeting destination in Europe by
Cvent for the fourth year running.
The UK capital was followed once again by Barcelona and
Madrid with Lisbon climbing one place to occupy fourth place on the list.
Paris, Amsterdam, Berlin, Rome, Munich and Vienna also
ranked in the top 10 meeting destinations.
Meanwhile, the London Hilton Metropole took second place on
Cvent’s list of the top meeting hotels in Europe. It was beaten to the top spot
by the Meliá Avenida América in Madrid (Madrid).
The rankings are determined on insights gleaned from $20bn
of global sourcing and RFP activity via Cvent’s sourcing platforms.
Cvent said the record sourcing activity seen in 2025
reflects more than demand-driven growth.
“It signals a structural shift as organisations across
Europe are prioritising face-to-face engagement in an increasingly
digital-first landscape,” it said, adding that 70% of planners expect the
number of in-person meetings to increase by 20% this year.
Fiona Plumpton, head of London Convention Bureau Services,
said: “London offers world-class venues, a wide range of hotels for every
brief, and growing hubs such as Stratford and King’s Cross. Add experiences
like ABBA Voyage and a wide range of river cruises and the city really comes to
life.”
Cvent also released its list of top 10 meeting venues in the
