beam has frozen its membership fees for the second consecutive year as businesses across the events sector continue to face cost pressures and economic uncertainty.

The association for the business events, accommodation and meetings industry confirmed its 2027 membership rates will remain at current levels.

beam said the decision was intended to give members greater certainty over costs, while it continues to provide advocacy, professional development and networking.

David Tremmil, chair of beam, said: “Our members are managing continued pressures on their businesses, and we recognise how important certainty is when planning for the year ahead. Freezing membership fees for a second consecutive year is a practical way we can support them.

“Careful financial stewardship has put beam in a strong position, and we want that stability to benefit our members directly.”

The announcement comes as the association publishes its 2027 events calendar, which will include networking and educational events throughout the year.

The programme will also coincide with beam’s 30th anniversary.

Tremmil added: “Our priority is to give members the support, connections and representation they need to plan and invest with confidence. We look forward to building on this work together in 2027.”
