What’s on at ABPCO’s inaugural Festival of Learning?

Attendees of the online and in-person Festival of Learning will hear from experts on innovation marketing and CSR among other topics across the week-long event.

Taking place online for the first six day, ABPCO’s Festival of Learning will then culminate at ExCeL London for its final day in a hybrid format.

Between 1-9 December 2021, delegates will hear from more than 30 speakers across 20 sessions under the theme of Future and Innovation, Marketing, CSR and Career Development.

Speakers for the online event, which will deliver up to three hours of content per day, include IAPCO’s Martin Boyle delivering his session: ‘International Collaboration: working together for the greater good’, isla’s Anna Abdelnoor on ‘How we can use sustainable events to regenerate the industry’, and Dr Caroline Jackson on ‘Diversity, Equity and Inclusion - a social responsibility practically solved,’ among many others.

During the in-person event, delegates will hear from Brightelm’s Rob Eveleigh on future meetings trends, Kathleen Warden of the Scottish Event Campus will give un update on the legacy of COP26 and Tracey Greaves will deliver a session on how to remain relevant in a fast-changing world.

ABPCO association director, Heather Lishman said: “We received an overwhelming number of abstract and applications to speak at the Festival of Learning – demonstrating the importance of content aimed specifically at association event professionals.

“This programme offers content for all and is perfectly balanced to deliver what our industry needs to know now to continue recovering, moving forward, growing and developing.”
