A group of B Corp-certified event agencies, venues and suppliers has launched a five-point manifesto aimed at driving environmental and social change across the events industry.
The B Corp Events Working Group brought together industry leaders at South Lodge to formally sign the manifesto, which focuses on collaboration, knowledge sharing and raising responsible business standards.
Established in summer 2025 by Ariela Schnitman of Worlds Better and Holly Arnold of Raw Tipis, the group aims to become a collective B Corp voice for the events sector.
The manifesto sets out five commitments for participating organisations: collective action on social and environmental challenges; sharing knowledge and best practice; active participation in joint initiatives; influencing standards across the industry; and forming partnerships with other organisations to accelerate progress.
Exclusive Collection, which hosted the launch at South Lodge, is among the founding signatories. Event Concept, Viva Esprit, Meet Events and By Word of Mouth also signed the manifesto at the event.
Ariela Schnitman, co-chair of the B Corp Events Working Group, said: “Over the past 12-months, we’ve consulted with B Corps across the events sector to understand what should be included in the Manifesto and how the Working Group can create the greatest impact.
“This first face-to-face gathering brought senior representatives from across the industry together for an important discussion about how events can be a catalyst for positive environmental and social change, while continuing to deliver meaningful experiences for attendees.
“Looking ahead, we have an exciting programme of activity planned, alongside a growing network of like-minded B Corps helping to shape best practice and drive progress across the sector.”
Danny Pecorelli, managing director of Exclusive Collection, added: “It was fantastic to see our industry come together around a shared purpose and collective action. As a founding signatory of the Manifesto, Exclusive Collection was proud to host the launch at South Lodge and support the role B Corps can play in driving positive change across the events sector.”
