The Society for Incentive Travel Excellence (SITE) has appointed Rebecca Wright as its interim CEO.
Wright succeeds Annette Gregg and will lead the global incentive travel association while a separate search is conducted for a permanent CEO. Her appointment follows a process led by SITE’s executive committee and confirmed by the SITE international board of directors.
Wright brings more than 15 years’ experience in the incentive travel industry and is a familiar figure within the SITE community. A former chapter leader and president of SITE Chicago, she joined SITE as head of chapter engagement in January 2020.
She previously served as SITE’s interim CEO from October 2020 to November 2022, during the Covid-19 pandemic.
“I worked with Rebecca during her first term as interim CEO, when I was president of SITE Türkiye. Through the pandemic she kept our chapters connected to SITE, and I saw first-hand what that meant for them. She brings that same continuity now,” said Hasan Dinç, president of the SITE international board of directors.
Wright said her immediate priorities would be supporting the SITE team, engaging with members and chapters, and building on the association’s existing momentum.
“It is a privilege to return to SITE and serve this community once again as interim CEO. What has always made SITE special is its people: an exceptional team, committed board and chapter leaders, and the relationships that connect our global community. My immediate focus will be on supporting the team, listening closely to our members and chapters, and building on the momentum already established across the association. I’m looking forward to reconnecting with members and industry colleagues at IMEX America and in the months ahead.”
