The Department for Business & Trade
has confirmed this year’s The Business of Events: UK Policy Forum as an
official International Trade Week (ITW) event.
ITW, which takes place from 06 – 10 November 2023, features a
variety of activities for organisations including in-person events, workshops
and webinars. It will also showcase the wide-ranging support available from the
Department for Business & Trade and its partners, highlight global export
opportunities and explain the benefits of the UK’s trade agreements.
Taking place on 08 November 2023 at IET London: Savoy Place, The Business of Events UK Policy Forum, which is an
invitation-only event, and will bring together senior business events leaders,
policymakers, politicians, government officials, media and industry
stakeholders to discuss the development of a long-term policy agenda for the
sector.

communication channels, acting as an advocate to Government for the business
events sector. This work is absolutely crucial to the ongoing growth of our
industry and therefore we are delighted to host this year’s UK Policy Forum. I
