The Meeting Needs M&IT Awards 2026 auction is now live, giving the industry the chance to bid on an array of prizes while raising money for a very good cause.
The online auction is being held in the run-up to the M&IT Awards 2026, which take place at Grosvenor House London on Friday 18 September.
All money raised through the auction will be distributed by Meeting Needs to charities and worthy causes selected by the UK events sector. The auction is open to everyone - so you don't need to be attending the M&IT Awards to take part.
Among the lots currently available are stays at some of the UK's leading hotels and venues, including a one night stay at Cliveden in a Junior Suite with a seven course tasting menu, a one-night bed and breakfast stay for two at the University Arms Cambridge, and a one-night bed and breakfast stay for two at Hyatt Regency London Olympia.
There are also opportunities to bid on hotel breaks and experiences further afield, including a four night stay in South Africa at the Fairmont Cape Grace & Kapama River Lodge, a three night stay for two at the Hard Rock Hotel, Malta, and a four night stay and safari escape in South Africa with Mount Nelson, a Belmond Hotel and Ivory Tree Game Lodge.
Other lots include a one-night bed and breakfast stay at Postillion Hotels in Amsterdam or Rotterdam, while the Park Plaza Westminster Bridge is offering a one-night dinner, bed and breakfast package with lounge access.
Meeting Needs has raised more than £50,000 through the M&IT Awards over the past three years. The charity foundation exists to raise funds for worthwhile causes connected to the events industry and beyond, particularly organisations and projects that may struggle to access sufficient public funding. The charity distributes grants to causes selected through its funding process, meaning money raised by the industry is ultimately channelled towards projects that need it most.
The auction will remain open until 8.45pm on Thursday 17 September, giving bidders until the evening before the M&IT Awards to get their bids in.
