Northstar Meetings Group has launched a new survey, Menopause and the events industry, as we aim to understand
the impact menopause is having on eventprofs.
With conversation
around menopause increasing across the UK, we want to understand how the events
sector is experiencing menopause.
“Menopause will
affect half the world's population, but it's still rarely spoken about in
professional settings,” said Holly Patrick, senior journalist and social editor at M&IT. “To
create supportive workplaces in the meeting and events industry, we need to
understand the impact menopause has on women working in the sector, and the
level of knowledge around menopause.
“To that end, we
would be very grateful if you could complete this five-minute survey. We
welcome responses from everyone.”

The survey is part of Northstar Meetings Group - UK - publishers of M&IT’s quarterly First Look
Research project, investigating trends and issues having a direct impact on the
meetings and events industry and how planners do their job.
