Sustainability
consultancy The
Bulb expects to see turnover triple year-on-year, resulting in its most successful year to date.
Since it was founded in 2015, The Bulb has doubled its
turnover year-on-year, and this year turnover is expected to triple, indicating
an accelerating focus on sustainability globally.
The news comes as the sustainability consultancy
completes a year-long project with experiential marketing agency
Jack Morton Worldwide which saw The Bulb tasked with creating the agency’s
first ever global organisation sustainability strategy: The PLANET Plan.
The Bulb also recently delivered major projects in the
UAE, including providing expertise for COP 28 and leading the sustainability
strategy for the 52nd Union Day show, an annual show created by
designer Es Devlin. The Bulb was tasked with ensuring that the
event was produced as sustainably as possible and as a result, the 52nd
Union Day Show was the first to be ISO 20121 certified. This certification is
an internationally recognised standard specifically developed for best
sustainable practice for the events sector.
Selina Donald, founder and CEO, The Bulb, comments:
“We’ve experienced our most productive year to date, and it’s been such a
privilege to partner with some of the world’s biggest names in our industry to
help them produce creative and innovative strategies that are designed to make
a real, tangible difference to people and planet.
“We’re also delighted to be able to announce the completion of our partnership
with Jack Morton Worldwide. We’re very proud of the work we have done with
Julien and his team, and we’re so excited to see the impact and influence that
Jack Morton has moving forward.”
The Bulb has also confirmed that it will begin work
with UK events agencies Sleek and TRO to develop their sustainability
strategies.
Established in
2015, The Bulb has led the sustainability strategy for a number of high-profile
projects including the Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games Opening and Closing
Ceremonies, the UAE’s iconic Union Day show and COP28 as well as the industry’s
prominent venues such as Expo City Dubai. The consultancy is a trusted
