The ABPCO Festival of Learning returns on 29-30 April, taking place at Nottingham Venues with a programme designed to connect, collaborate and develop skills for events professionals.
The content has been developed by ABPCO’s Learning and Development Taskforce, led by Jessica Letters, head of events at The Royal College of Psychiatrists, and Gema Rodriguez, MD at TFI Lodestar. Sessions are CPD accredited, allowing attendees to claim development credits.
Keynote speakers include Geoff Ramm, known for his advocacy of ‘celebrity service’, and Sasha Frieze, author of The Chief Events Officer’s Playbook. Other sessions cover practical topics such as bid strategy, productivity tools for events teams, and creative workshops like terrarium-making.
The event delivery will be supported by Sheer Edge Events, and delegates will also have opportunities to network and explore Nottingham. ABPCO has also secured 10 subsidised student places via ACC Liverpool to support newcomers to the industry.
Matt Stalker said: “The Festival of Learning is an incredibly popular industry event and well supported by our industry partners and sponsors. We’re expecting a record turnout this year, building on the success of last year’s event.”
