The Association of Event Venues (AEV) has published the
latest edition of its eGuide, its code of practice for UK event venue,
organiser, exhibitor and supplier companies.
The guide provides guidance on topics related to event
operation and management, including health, safety and operational planning and
is developed by professionals from UK event venues and compiled in consultation
with its sister associations, the Association of Event Organisers (AEO) and
Event Supplier and Services Association (ESSA).
The latest version published today (10 August) features reviews
of six sections: gas; medical cover; medical demonstrations and treatments;
simulators, rides & inflatables; special effects; and special treatments.

The 2026 eGuide can be downloaded from the AEV website. There is a version with highlighted changes and the option to download six sections independently for convenience.
