The Meetings Show, the UK’s leading event that brings
together the world’s meetings and events community, has unveiled the education
programme for this year’s show, promising event professionals’ access to
industry leaders and innovators for hands-on learning and development.
Visitors to the 2025 show, which returns to Excel London on
25-26 June, can expect to find a packed programme of immersive,
thought-provoking content delivered by inspirational speakers from both in- and
outside the events industry.
Curated by an expert team using feedback from previous
attendees, industry focus groups, and global meeting and event designers, the
programme is highly relevant to today’s event professionals.
Sponsored by Abu Dhabi Tourism, Venues of Excellence and
Eastside Rooms, the education programme – free to access for all attendees –
will be delivered across three stages through the duration of the show, with
sessions designed to support development wherever you are at in your career.
Opening sessions include a look at the future of events with
organisational psychologist and futurist Dr Graham Norris and an exploration of
improvisation with the enigmatic spontaneous poet, Judge the Poet. Meanwhile,
Bassanti Pathak of Pathak Yoga will be examining the neuroscience behind yoga
postures, movement, breathing and meditation in the Blank Canvas – the show’s
space for experimentation – in her session Workplace Yoga: More Than Just
Stretches!
Nearly 50 sessions, covering areas such as AI, event design,
neurodiversity, industry trends and personal development, will continue to take
place over two days, providing a treasure trove of inspiration and information
to attendees. New for this year is The Meetings Show’s Human Library, a series
of 15 minute 1-to-1 conversations with thought leaders, innovators and
specialists. Experts giving their time include Claus Raasted of The College of
Extraordinary Experiences; Taylor Smith of BCD Meetings & Events and Megan
Garmers of Streamline Social. Get your burning questions ready to be answered.

Samme Allen, CEO of atex (The Attendee Experience Company)
whose team of professional event designers curated the programme in partnership
with The Meetings Show, said: “We learn best when we are engaged in a topic and
sometimes that means doing as well as listening, so we decided to shake things
up and have introduced more hands-on, dynamic, and experiential learning
formats that inspire attendees and encourage active participation. We are
excited to bring the programme to life at the show.”
Jack Marczewski, portfolio event director at Northstar
Meetings Group, said: “Samme and her team have spent an inordinate amount of
time and energy pulling together a learning experience like no other. Our
collaboration with atex means that visitors have free access to an incredible
programme of content that we will proudly roll out and we can’t wait for
visitors to experience it.”
