The theme ‘Accelerate. Shaping the future of venues’ will shape the conference agenda at the Association of Event Venues (AEV) annual conference.
Taking place at
Excel London on Friday 14 November 2025, the conference is set to deliver a 'dynamic programme.'
"Our annual conference is always a highlight of the year and we are
especially looking forward to the dynamic programme we have planned for our attendees," said AEV director, Rachel Parker.
"Fast paced
and exciting, the conference will explore how we can enhance the event experience and drive the
industry forward — accelerating progress and shaping the future of our venues.”
Relevant to event industry professionals, the 2025 conference will be the ninth edition for AEV and will include
sessions on diversifying the venue offer, security, AI and technology. The full programme will be
revealed in September.
Parker added, “We are also delighted to introduce a new host for this year’s conference. Sam
McNeill, corporate emcee and facilitator and speaker with atex the attendee experience company.
Sam has hosted over 700 in-person, virtual and hybrid experiences on four continents and his
professionalism and energy has made him a favourite among some of the biggest brands in the world.”
The AEV icebreaker event makes a return this year on the evening preceding the conference,
Thursday 13 November 2025, allowing delegates to spend the evening networking and socialising in
an informal environment before the main event.
Booking opens in September for the AEV annual conference with an early bird offer available until 17
October 2025. Tickets include entry to the AEV icebreaker evening.
