Business events, accommodation and meetings association, beam, will tackle the challenges facing businesses across the sector at its Autumn All Members Meeting at The Oxford Belfry on 12 November 2026.
Held twice a year and exclusively for members and partners, the meeting gives them the chance to share experience, hear the latest industry updates and debate the issues affecting their businesses.
Members to put questions directly to panel
Beam Question Time returns with a panel drawn from across the membership. Inspired by the BBC format, the session will let delegates put their questions directly to the panel, challenge perspectives and help shape the debate around the issues that matter to their businesses.
David Tremmil, chair of beam, said: “Our All Members Meetings give people time to step away from the day job, compare experiences with others across the membership and work through the issues affecting their businesses.
“We want members to come with questions, share what is working and be open about where they need support. The return of beam Question Time puts that exchange at the heart of the day, alongside sessions offering ideas and skills people can take back to their teams.
“I would encourage members and partners to join us, have their say and make the most of the experience in the room.”
Visitor levy, AI and sales skills on the programme
A Visitor levy Table Talk will invite delegates to discuss the proposed levy and its potential implications. AI in action will share real life stories and case studies of how businesses are putting the technology to use, and a session on Sales Negotiation Skills will focus on practical support for commercial discussions.
Keynote on technology and attention
Technology and productivity expert Alexander Bell will deliver the keynote, Attention Intelligence, exploring how our relationship with technology affects performance, wellbeing and human connection. Drawing on humour, history and science, he will introduce practical 'Tech Rules' to help delegates protect their attention and build healthier digital habits.
