The annual Scientific Meeting of the Pancreas
Society of Great Britain & Ireland and the UK & Ireland Endoscopic
Ultrasound Society has chosen Leeds as its host city more times than any other destination.
Now in its 47th year, the event is set to
welcome 250 delegates at the Hilton Leeds City Hotel from 30 November to 2
December 2022.
Designed to provide the latest updates to
doctors, nurses, and dieticians involved in providing care for patients with
pancreatic diseases. The event allows those caring for pancreatic patients to
exchange ideas and share the latest research and technological advances.
Alongside research developments and ideas
exchange, the conference will host content sessions on how the Society intends
to shape and redesign pancreatic services across the UK, advanced endoscopic
interventions in pancreatic disease, how to deliver enhanced care across the UK
for patients with pancreatic cancer, and training for the next generation of
pancreatic surgeons.
In addition to the plenary sessions, the Lord
Smith Medal for the best original pancreatic research will be presented, and
also delegates will see live endoscopy from St James’s University
Hospital.
