The
Meetings Industry
Association (mia) is
exhibiting at IMEX Frankfurt for the first time in its history when it returns
14-16 May.
The trade association will be
using Europe’s largest trade show for the global business meetings and events
sector to raise the profile of its AIM accreditation to international buyers
and industry peers.
Members joining the mia on its
mia Pavilion stand throughout the three days include The Celtic Collection, ICC
Wales and The Belfry Hotel and Resort.

Association’s chief executive Kerrin MacPhie said: “We’re delighted to be
taking a stand for the first time at IMEX Frankfurt. By hosting the mia
Pavilion – we’re not only offering our members a great cost-effective way to
exhibit internationally but it’s a chance for the mia to share news with a
global audience about our latest initiatives while helping to continue to
spread the word about the range of quality venues and suppliers we have available
in the UK.”
She added: “Attending trade
shows like IMEX always provides a great opportunity for us to gain further
intelligence on industry developments, challenges and opportunities. This helps
inform and drive future mia activities as well as our quarterly state of the
sector research mia Insights.”
