The Power of Events is set to mark its two-year anniversary with a livestream broadcast from London's Science Museum.
Backed by event tech specialist d&b group, The Power of Events is to
livestream its two-year anniversary broadcast from d&b’s
Immersive Technology Experience Centre (ITEC), located at the heart of London’s
Science Museum, with support from Giant iTab.
People can join The Power of Events online on Thursday 13 February at
11am on its Linkedin channel for one hour, to hear contributions from more than 20 industry leaders from across the sectors, including many supporters and
partners and the core team.
The broadcast will focus on showcasing what the UK event industry has
achieved to date through inclusive collaboration, including the latest updates
on the Schools Engagement Programme, the Events Industry
Insight App and what’s next for The Power of Events. It will conclude with an interactive Q&A session with The Power of Events team.
Founder Rick Stainton said: “This is for all The Power of Events
supporters, partners and anyone passionate about the UK Events industry. It is
aimed at thanking the UK events industry and showcasing what their support,
unselfish commitment and collaborative values can achieve when we all
collectively work together on a project – things can be actioned, impact
delivered and changes in behaviour and understanding are real and measurable.”
