Leeds is set to host the UK’s Real Estate Investment and Infrastructure Forum (UKREiiF) again in 2024, marking four years in the city.
The conference brings together domestic and international property developers, investors, councils and built environment experts across three days. The 2023 editions is taking place between 16-18 May.
James Lewis, Leeds City Council leader said he’s delighted that Leeds will be the host city for UKREiiF again in 2024. “The event added over £5 million to the city’s economy in three days last year. This year we will welcome over 6,000 delegates from all over the UK. It’s great news for Leeds as we continue to ensure a great city welcome year after year.”
Amanda Griffiths, director of UKREiiF conference owners, Built Environment Networking, said: “Since the doors opened for the inaugural event in 2022 we have been inundated with interest from cities in England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland, and with such as high level of interest it was certainly no easy decision to make.
“But we’re a Leeds based business and the city has supported us throughout the past 24-months to ensure UKREiiF is a huge success, and we therefore wanted to make the commitment for UKREiiF to be held in the city for 2024. The event generated £5.5m in economic return for the city in 2022 and with numbers of delegates almost doubling it’s going to make a major splash for the hospitality and visitor economy this year.”
