The Event & Visual Communication Association (EVCOM) celebrated the event industry's live conference sector at the awards, crowning One Young World Summit 2019 as the Best Conference.
McKinsey BLINK 2019 - Leading in a disruptive world by Shelton won silver in the Best Conference category, and the bronze award was handed to Cheerful Twentyfirst’s White and Case conference.
The online award ceremony kicked off with a welcoming quiz in which guests had to guess the answers to music-themed questions. Claire Fennelow, EVCOM’s executive director, and award host Samme Allen introduced the ceremony, encouraged people to send in selfies of them celebrating in their glad rags and announced champagne would be sent to the best dressed of the evening.
Between the winner announcements, guests were treated to a song from Hannah Brown who sang her rendition of ‘Dream A Little Dream’.
