The final countdown is on for the M&IT Awards 2025, taking place on Friday 19 September at the JW Marriott Grosvenor House London – and there’s still time to grab your ticket for the glitziest night in the events calendar.
Widely regarded as the networking night of the year, the M&IT Awards brings together every corner of the sector to celebrate and reward excellence with an evening of elegance, glamour and connection.
“It’s going to be absolutely fantastic” said M&IT editor Paul Harvey. “It’s the Oscars of our industry after all: everyone's favourite event of the year, the social event of the year, the networking event of the year, the glitziest, most glamorous event of the year.
“This is the room where decision-makers, change-makers, and future collaborators meet, talk business, and shape what’s next. With brands like Edinburgh International Conference Centre, Abu Dhabi Tourism, Avanti West Coast, Eventurous and Melia Hotels International already confirmed, momentum is building fast.
“With incredible, red carpet-worthy outfits and THE Vernon Kay from the telly as our host, don’t just hear about it - be in the room where the real conversations (and deals) happen.”
More than 700 of the industry’s finest will be in the room, with nearly 100 of them waiting to hear if they’ve won one of the 18 awards being handed out this year, including the brand new M&IT Editor’s Choice Award.
The evening kicks off with a champagne reception, followed by a three-course dinner, live entertainment (including Events R Talented winner Holly Ritchie) and the highly anticipated awards ceremony. As ever, the night will also raise funds for the industry’s charity foundation, Meeting Needs, through its silent auction and table raffle prize draw.
Last year’s winners highlight why the M&IT Awards is so special.
Daniel Mitchell from Inntel said: “Before joining this industry, I hadn’t experienced anything quite like the M&IT Awards. They’re more than just a celebration - they’re a chance for people facing similar challenges to come together, share successes and lift each other up.
“For Inntel, winning M&IT awards has had a real impact. We’ve had clients comment on how our wins helped reinforce their decision to partner with us. It shows we’re not just saying we’re good - others are recognising it too.
“And of course, there’s something pretty special about the night itself. It’s a rare moment to swap the office for a dinner jacket, spend time with colleagues and connect with industry professionals in person. We’re proud of our culture - but evenings like these give it a whole new sparkle.”
Other voices echo that sentiment:
- “The lovely thing about the awards is that it's all your favourite people all in one room together. So, it is a bit like a wedding,” said Danielle Bounds, 2024 Personality of the Year.
- “Representing Alton Towers Resort at the M&IT Awards is always a real privilege… There’s a genuine sense of community in the room and it’s inspiring to be surrounded by so much passion and creativity,” added Karen Johnson, Alton Towers.
- “We attend the awards because it is a once-a-year opportunity to be in the same room as, and catch up with, all our industry colleagues and peers,” said Brad Davies, KDM.
- “We love the M&IT Awards and have been going for many years now – it's always such a good fun night seeing old and new faces,” added Vicky Gardner, ZiaBia.
