Diversity Ally's inaugural Diversity in Events Awards has extended its deadline for entries.

Award entries can now be submitted until 24 January 2022. Anybody who works within the events, virtual events, brand activations or experiential marketing space can enter the awards for a fee of £250. Associations and trade bodies may be eligible for a discount.

The Diversity in Events Awards remains the only industry awards that focus on recognising, promoting and celebrating equality, diversity and inclusion across all sectors working within the events industry.

Award categories include Best D&I initiative (launched in the last 18 months), Diversity Champion of the Year Award, Most Accessible Event technology or Product, Most accessible Venue and The Diversity Ally of the year Award.

Each category has specific criteria which can be viewed here and any entrants who need help with their application can contact Diversity Ally co-founder Gabrielle Austen-Browne at [email protected].

Successful applicants will be announced on a shortlist in February and the Diversity in Events Awards night will take place on the Cutty Sark in London on 26 April 2022.
