EventLab, Hire Space’s flagship education and networking event, will be hosted in a hybrid format this November, with only 250 spaces available for in-person attendees.
Taking place on Wednesday 24 November, EventLab’s programme will focus on innovation in the post-pandemic landscape, and guests will have the option of attending virtually using the event platform Arena or in-person at Central Hall Westminster.
Both remote and in-person audiences will be able to tune into mainstage content and participate in discussions at EventLab.
In-person attendees will also have access to four CPD-certified professional development workshops and can utilise the on-site co-working facilities with a networking lounge and complimentary lunch for in-person VIP guests.
EventLAB 2021 will deliver 13 sessions, hosted by more than 20 key figures in the industry, including:
- Simon Burton, co-founder and director of Virtual Events Institute, speaking about “Hybrid events in practice: the latest trends and learnings”
- Mark Bannister, technical director of COP26, presenting “A case study of a carbon-neutral event”
- Lauralee Whyte, founder of Spectrum Speakers and Entertainers, speaking about “Workplace ethics and D&I initiatives that will help businesses attract the new wave of event industry talent”
- Shonali Devereaux, co-founder of Diverse Speaker Bureau, hosting the Conference Stage
EventLab organiser and co-founder of Hire Space, Edward Poland, highlighted the importance of collaboration and communication as the events industry gets back on its feet.
“We're delighted to be back with a roster of incredible speakers and high-quality educational content for professional event organisers and to be able to offer a virtual element through Arena to those unable to attend in person. EventLAB is back, it’s hybrid, and we can't wait,” Poland added.
