Monaco’s official event management company Monaco Mediax, has announced SPORTEL Monaco Convention and SPORTEL Awards will go ahead in October.
Due to be held at the Grimaldi Forum between 25 to 28 October 2020, SPORTEL Monaco Convention is one of the world’s leading sports content media rights and technology conventions.
Teams at both Monaco Mediax and the Grimaldi Forum are currently working together to ensure delegate and public safety is prioritised the event above all else.
"We are optimistic about business resuming activity,” Sylvie Biancheri, general director of the Grimaldi Forum said.
“Widely recognised for twenty years for its ability to adapt to all the projects of event organisers, the Grimaldi Forum Monaco, has always placed security as its top priority. We are doing everything we can to put in place optimal reception conditions. We have a busy schedule starting in September, and we are particularly pleased to welcome this 31st edition of SPORTEL from 25 to 28 October."
In order to prioritise safety, the Grimaldi Forum has provided its clients with precise guidelines describing the hygiene and social distancing measures as well as gesture barriers which could be applied during the event. These measures include taking temperature recordings of delegates at the entrance of the congress centre, compulsory wearing of a mask, providing hydro-alcoholic gel and complete cleaning and disinfection with virucide EN 14476 norm.
Monaco Mediax is also working on a sanitation procedure to be put in place upon arrival at the Grimaldi Forum with a reorganisation of the various welcome areas to guarantee a minimum distance between participants and regular cleaning of the conference facilities.
