The One Industry One Voice initiative has launched a national and regional media campaign - #WeCreateExperiences, to support public and corporate buyers.
The campaign intends to focus on a medium and long term roadmap for the restart of live events. It is being headed up by appointed PR agency PHA and launches with several digital assets to highlight its three messages:
- Reassure that as an industry, we are the event experts globally, especially in safety measures, as well as creative, digital and sustainability.
- Inspire: Showcasing what we do, the lives our work touches and the genres of events we deliver.
- Educate: Communicating our contribution to the economy in employment, GDP, exports, our cross-regional eco-system including young employment opportunities and the range of skillsets.
The #WeCreateExperiences campaign will run alongside other industry campaigns, supported by One Industry One Voice. These include #What About Weddings, #Savenightlife, #Savelivecomedy, #WeMakeEvents, UK Music #Let the Music Play, which all aim drive effective communication, fight for awareness and financial support.
Support for the #WeCreateExperiences campaign has come from across the country and from all sectors. Agencies, promoters and event organisers, along with venues, suppliers and freelancers have pledged their support to the ongoing fight for the urgent need for short term financial help and to get the live events going again.
Support from high-profile personalities across support, music, charity, showbiz, government and the science sector has also been growing.
If you're in a position to help fund the One Industry One Voice campaign, you can donate via a Just Giving PR fund here. The campaign understands that many businesses and event professionals are not in a position to contribute to the Just Giving PR fund, but urges everyone in the industry to help by spreading the word and supporting the campaign when it goes live.
