SJ Events marks 15 years with rebrand and strong pipeline

In line with its 15th anniversary, Leicestershire-based events management agency, SJ Events has announced a rebrand as part of "an aggressive growth plan" for the business.

The rebrand focused on delivering a new website, changing the SJ Events logo and refining the brand colour palette, all with the aim of retaining and attracting clients, which is already coming to fruition.

Heading into 2020, the agency is enjoying its strongest confirmed pipeline of events yet, to take place across the UK and Europe over the next year. It also has a healthy number of event enquiries it is currently following up.

Founded in 2005 by Sam Spillane, SJ Events specialises in the delivery of conferences and meetings, incentive travel programmes, exhibitions and trade shows, and gala dinners and celebrations across an international portfolio. Last year, the agency delivered events for a variety of different sectors including HR, energy and manufacturing in the UK as well as Spain, Hungary, Portugal and Slovakia.

Speaking about the business and the rebrand, Samantha Spillane, managing director, SJ Events said: “It is hard to believe that it is 15 years since the start of SJ. But our philosophy in the business remains the same – to offer a professional service to our clients, taking away the hassle and stress of event planning so that they can focus on their day jobs knowing that their event is in safe hands.

“Now feels like the right time to embark on the next stage of the business.  The rebrand is an evolution rather than a revolution, as we retain the core values that we have built our reputation on thus far.  Entering 2020 we have our strongest list of confirmed events to date and a number of other really positive conversations and enquiries from both existing and new clients. It provides a great foundation from which to grow the business further.”
