TV presenter, actor and Strictly Come Dancing star Ore Oduba
is set to host the M&IT Awards 2022.
A
multi-talented West End star, This Morning presenter and winner of the 14th
series of Strictly Come Dancing, Oduba is a real triple threat event host for
the industry’s biggest night of the year.
Presenting
flagship shows such as This Morning, The One Show, Oduba is one of the most
versatile presenters around, from Saturday night TV host to fronting some of
the biggest national events live to audiences of millions - The Royal Wedding
of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle and Ariana Grande’s global concert One Love
Manchester to name but two. He also competed in Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins
on Channel 4 in 2021.

are incredibly excited to announce Ore as our MC for the 2022 M&IT Awards,”
said M&IT editor Paul Harvey. “Ore has fronted some of the biggest national
events live to audiences of millions, so you know we're in for a great awards.”
As
a performer, Oduba is a multi-talented singer, dancer, actor and showman.
Making his West End debut in the musical Curtains opposite Jason Manford, Oduba
has also starred in Grease and The Rocky Horror Show.
He
earned his first TV acting credit in primetime drama Noughts + Crosses, while
as host of the Strictly Come Dancing Live Tour he has delighted sold-out crowds
in many of the UK’s most famous arenas.
Taking
place on Friday 9 September at Battersea Evolution, the M&IT Awards is a
glittering night that sees the sector unite to celebrate excellence within the
events industry. It’s also a chance to network with industry leaders and
celebrity guests while raising funds for the meetings industry’s own charity,
Meeting Needs.
The
evening starts with a champagne reception, followed by a three-course dinner
accompanied by entertainment acts before the main awards ceremony. The
after-party with a live band wraps up a wonderful evening, as eventprofs take
the opportunity to network and celebrate with friends and colleagues.
