Butlin's will open the doors to its new PLAYXPERIENCE activity centre at its Bognor Regis resort in October, promising to revolutionise the corporate delegate experience at the venue.
The launch marks another milestone in Butlin's biggest year of investment to
date following the unveiling of Maple Walk’s premium lodges in
Skegness and making Studio 36 a permanent feature at all three resorts.
Spanning nearly 5,000 sqm and set over two floors, PLAYXPERIENCE is an interactive indoor hub
featuring nine high-tech experiences. Visitors can enjoy a diverse array
of games including TechPutt, Escape Rooms, Laser Tag, Shuffleboard,
and Digi Darts. The games take advantage of AR and VR technology to
create fully immersive experiences.
The
events team at Butlin’s can provide bespoke packages and solutions to
incorporate PLAYXPERIENCE for events of different sizes, duration and budget.
Exclusive hire packages include access to all games and The Bar, while flexible
corporate packages are available to provide a VIP experience for small groups
on shorter stays.
Dan
Elliott, Butlin’s national sales manager, said: "Event
planners today are under immense pressure to deliver engaging events on
shrinking budgets. By integrating PLAYXPERIENCE into Butlin's comprehensive
event solutions, we offer an unparalleled return on engagement for our
corporate clients.
"Our experienced events team can offer tailor-made solutions
for a range of event requests. Our full resort takeovers are perfect for
two-night programs, but there are great solutions for one-night programs as
well. For example, a two-day, one-night program can utilise the Conference
Centre during the day, enjoy PLAYXPERIENCE in the evening and stay overnight at
the Ocean Hotel, all in one place.”
Butlin's is positioning the new
facility to the corporate events market with flexible packages that include access
to PLAYXPERIENCE for delegates. The facility is suited for
team-building activities, conferences, and corporate retreats.
