St Ermin's Hotel in Westminster will open a refurbished meetings and events wing in mid-November, following a £1.7 million redesign.
The space, called The East Wing, has 10 rooms: a podcast studio, a private screening room, boardrooms, four networking areas and a set of private rooms. Bookings and private viewings open from mid-November.
The podcast studio, named The Listening Station, is soundproofed and equipped for recording and live webinars. The hotel says it will also be used to support emerging local podcasters. The screening room, The Hidden Lens, can be used for private film viewings and presentations, or as part of larger events.
The private rooms hold between four and 40 people and can be set up for board meetings, small weddings or private dining. A privacy booth is also included for guests who need to take calls or work away from the main event. The four mingling spaces range from larger networking areas to smaller seating spaces.
Catering will be available from breakfast through to dinner, including afternoon tea.
Douglas McHugh, general manager of St Ermin's, said private dining would play "a central role" in the new spaces. He said the hotel had "carefully reimagined each space" to preserve the building's character.
