Rhubarb Hospitality Collection
(RHC) has acquired The Brewery, one of London’s leading corporate event
venues, for an undisclosed sum.
RHC’s
investment expands the firm’s footprint in UK
venues and brings its total employees to more than 2,500. RHC has continued to grow
rapidly since its acquisition by Oak View Group (OVG) in 2023, one of the biggest UK hospitality deals of recent times. OVG is a
leader in live experience venue development, management and premium hospitality
services and has recently opened Co-op Live in
Manchester, UK where RHC provides hospitality service.
The
Brewery, located in the City of London, hosts more than 500 events annually and is one of the City of London’s premier corporate event
venues.
The
Brewery’s existing management team, led by chief executive James Varah, will
work with RHC’s chief executive, P.B. Jacobse, to develop a portfolio of
premium event venues within the capital. The Brewery’s historic Grade II listed space
will continue to host conferences, exhibitions, awards, and dinners
for its clients.
RHC has
venues
across London, New York and Berlin and caters for more than 5 million people every
year at venues including the Royal
Albert Hall, Ascot
Racecourse, Sky Garden, 22 Bishopsgate, immersive live entertainment
experiences Mamma Mia! The
Party and Frameless. RHC also provides food, drink, and hospitality services at Co-op Live, the UK’s
largest arena, and helps deliver the arena’s sustainability
commitments.
