Cathy Joyce, director of sales at Hyatt Regency London -The
Churchill, has been elected as the new president of Meeting
Professionals International (MPI) UK & Ireland Chapter.
Announcing the news on Linkedin, Joyce thanked the outgoing
president Dan Noyce, senior sales relationship manager at IMEX, and
the whole MPI board and promised to drive the chapter to “new heights”.
Joyce said: “It is a privilege to step into this role with Brian Hand by
my side, VPs Olivia Breene, Daniel Agüero-Duplá, Hannah Lee and
a highly talented Board of Directors and Committee members. We offer diverse
talents and industry skills that have played a crucial role in shaping our
chapter into what it is today. I am truly honoured to work with such a dynamic,
hard-working, and talented team whose dedication, expertise and commitment have
made our chapter stronger than ever before. We will continue to drive our
chapter to new heights.

chapter, and I am confident we will continue to grow and develop our chapter,
delivering value for our members. I want to thank each and every member for

The chapter recently announced a new strategic partnership with Fáilte
Ireland and the Dublin Convention Bureau and welcomes both Orla
Moule and Donna Brogan to the board of directors. The MPI Insights
event will take place for the first time in Ireland this Thursday at Dublin
Royal Convention Centre.
Joyce added: “I couldn't imagine a better way to kick off my
presidency year than hosting International buyers to Ireland to showcase Dublin
as a world-class destination for meetings and events.
