Diversity Alliance has put out a final call for eventprofs to take part in a new data project that aims to transform the way the sector approaches DE&I in the workplace.
Sponsored by M&IT and Cvent, the Driving Success through Diversity survey is looking to gain a deeper understanding into DEI in the sector, identify improvement areas and create meaningful change.
It aims to
gather insights into how DE&I training, initiatives and strategies affect
engagement, retention and productivity, and will look
into the following areas:
- Organisational commitment
to DE&I
- Equal opportunities and equity
- Identifying barriers and biases
- Workplace culture /
inclusion and belonging
Diversity Alliance founder Gabby Austen Browne said: "The survey and
the accompanying report will provide data for benchmarking, alongside insights
and recommendations that event professionals, companies, leaders and the
industry can use to kick start or deepen their commitment to diversity and
inclusion. Your teams and colleagues' perspectives will play a key role in
shaping the report and its findings.
"The questions are straightforward, with most being answered with a simple yes or no. The data collected will be used solely for the purpose of monitoring and improving diversity, equity, and inclusion within the events industry."
The deadline for completing the survey is Friday 26
January 2024.
